A familiar name from a distance, a jolly voice, a smiling face. I know her. She's my cousin,Anita. And she's in Turkey now because she's an Erasmus student in Ankara.
But I can see her, I can hear her voice and I can be in touch with her. All these things are possible via the Internet.
I just click one and suddenly I'm able to know everything about her. I can feel her sensations, her thoughts, we can laugh together, we can feel each other's sorrows and joys. It's amazing.
Internet is one of the most useful inventions in the world. It connects people who are in different parts of the Earth, it enables us to get information about everything we want, it makes our lives much more comfortable.
Some people say it has harmful effects. But think it over for a minute! Everything can have a harmful consequence, even the best things of the world. The problem is not with the Internet itself, but the people who use it. Because we tend to overuse things we like, and this is what happens with the Internet. So we should pay more attention to the real world around us.
Anyway, I love the Internet and I don't want to get rid of it.

You're right. The problem itself is not the internet, but the people using it. Everybody should keep the balance, that's the point. Now, I can hardly imagine my life without it as well. I have some friend as well whom I can only reach quickly through the internet.
